Hi everyone

Anyone noticed the new MHEG IC Test Channel? I'm getting it from the terrestrial broadcast from Wharite (Manawatu). It is a "type 12" (data broadcast) channel, same as the Strong Sommet channel...

Channel 600 is doing something different now, before it was doing nothing, now it complains about my internet connection and to check my cable. I tried plugging it in but I dont even see the box requesting an IP from the DHCP server so no idea what its trying to do.

600 comes up MHEG IC test channel, and after ages on it, something comes up about internet connection error. That's all that happens on it so far.

Niu FM eh. Hopefully that means that their link to everywhere out of auckland will get slightly better audio than what it has, because it sounds like trash outside of AK. They actually have some good stuff from time to time.

There are plans to launch some interactive MHEG5 based services next year.

Having said that Freeview first demonstrated the this a year ago and haven't progressed far yet!

Well, it would have to be faster than the EPG for me to bother ever using it because I dont use the EPG since its so (*&(*^(*&ing slow. Thats another thing for the tech annoyance thread however.
