We got a new tv yesterday, its a LG 32LD460. The remote is not working properly and I think its the wrong one, could this be possible? It is not the one pictured in the manual and is very basic. No options for guide etc like on our sony freeview tv. If you have the same tv would you please be able to explain how you access the freeview guide and if possible a pic of the remote? We are going to see Harvey N's tomorrow. Cheers.

An aside and appologies if it's not helpful, but we havea a harmony remote and seriously never use the original remotes for any of our equipment anyway any more. I'd highly recommend one of those.

It's happened to me before, but I bought a floor model TV once.  If it was new in box that would be extremely unusual, I'd have thought.

it seems weird yes, you can't access the tv menu and the arrows don't work, no freeview buttons either which the pictured one seems to have.
