I dont know if anyone has posted about this yet, but a blind scan has just brought up some aussie channels on D1 using standard 65cm dish, all free to air.  Nine, Gem, and Go.  However they are on a DVB-S2 transponder so only HD DVB-S2 compatible receivers can tune these, even though the channels are all SD.
