As the subject suggests, our freeview box goes black and white while watching TV. This happens after about an hour and the only way to fix it is to unplug the freeview box and plug it back in. Aside from being annoying, this of course stuffs up anything that may be recording at the time.

The odd thing is that recorded programs still record in colour and playback perfectly fine.

It is not weather dependent, it just happens between an hour to an hour and a half of perfectly fine colourful television.

Its about a year old I guess.

Any ideas?
