Hi Guys

I have some reservations about my signal strength / quality, and would like to know if anybody out knows of a utility that I could download to check this.

I have a DVB-S card (BlackGold) and want to rule out signal strength for some issues that I am having.

There is no way to get accurate measures of signal strength (dBuV) and quality (BER) from a BDA driver unless the manufacturer provides a custom property set extension. So far as I'm aware, Blackgold have not done that, therefore your only option is really to get signal checked with a proper signal meter. Perhaps you could elaborate on the issues a little?

Just a small correction to my statement: there is no way unless the manufacturer/reseller provides a driver extension *or* they define the technical meanings of the signal statistics available from the BDA driver. Again, to my knowledge Blackgold haven't done either of those things...
