Hi been researching a unit for my car but need a little more advice before hitting buy now

Some of the readers here may of heard of the Emperor Road king car stereo but a little confusion on my part or maybe bad advertising but I will do a little cutting and pasting from the adds

DVB-T information
- Digital TV receiving standard: MPEG-2
- Automatic and manual search
- Display: 16:9, 4:3
- Languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Greek, Russian, Czech, Slovak, Vietnamese, Chinese

Media player information
- Video formats supported (up tp 1080p): H.264, MPEG 1/2, MPEG 4, VC-1, Real Video 8/9/10, H.263
- Audio formats supported: MP3 / WMA / EAAC+ / AC3
- Image formats supported: JPG

and other sites state

DVB-T Information :

    • Digital TV receiving standard: MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 (100% works, please search DVB-T on wikipedia.com for the coverage of your city)

    • Automatic and manual search

    • Display: 16:9, 4:3

    • Languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Greek, Russian, Czech, Slovak, Vietnamese, Chinese

So my question here would be is there a separate decoder in the tuner or is it all done with software for watching NZ DVB-t or would they both in fact be separate units for different countries ?

These look like a mean machine to have but the site I was going from cancelled my order over the weekend and increased their prices by $ us 100  other places have them $ us 100 cheaper but dont advertise DVB-t MPEG2 + MPEG4

I was just curious as under media player info their is H.264 and MPEG4

8MHz is the norm, it's only Australia that uses non standard spacing.

As to whether it would work I don't think anybody could answer that question with 100% confidence.
