Just got a new TV with built in freview.

Plug in back of TV is an aerial plug. But the plug I have coming out of my wall is a LNB cable. As its running off a sky dish (dont have sky now).

Is there a connection you can buy to join the LNB cable to the aerial plug? And whats it called.

If so would places like Dick Smith have them?

You could use an F type to Belling Lee adapter BUT in this case it won't do you any good. The inbuilt freeview is known as DVB-T H.264. DVB-T means terrestrial and that the signal comes from a tower on a hill via a UHF aerial to your TV. You need to have a UHF aerial installed if you are in a coverage area.

You need a UHF aerial and you need to live somewhere that can recieve DVB-T transmissions.
If you want to use the cable in the wall, you need to get a Freeview Satellite receiver (and these are not built in to TVs).
