I foolishly tried a new USB tuner in my Win7 Media Center PC on the w/end.  It wiped all my previously tuned DVB-T and DVB-S channels and had to set up the tuning and EPG from scratch again.

I use EPG Collector to get EPG.  Unfortunately this is no longer working correctly for the Kordia (602 Mhz I think).  This is Maori, Prime, Startos, ChineseTV 8, centralTV, etc.

Just wanted to check...
  • that in Rotorua the confirmed frequencies are 554Mhz (Mediaworks), 586Mhz (TVNZ) and 602Mhz (Kordia)?
  • Anyone else in Rotorua had or having problems getting the EPG from Kordia?
Thanks!

Phew .. think I have it sorted now.

I upgraded to the latest version of 3.1 and went through my INI file thoroughly and checked all the settings.  Don't remember changing anything but it now seems to suck down a weeks worth of EPG on all channels (incl Kordia ones).

I'm a little surprised that it was working before as 3.1 was released because the feed was changed somehow which stopped the earlier versions from working. Anyway glad to hear it is working for you again now.
You might also want to consider taking a image of your media centre now that it is working. Always good to have a backup in case you do something silly or someone else does something silly like a bad patch from Microsoft.

On the default install, the frequencies were wrong for Pukepoto (the Rotorua transmitter) in the tuning XML fle.  I knew I had to manually change that.

Probably should let SJB know that.

Taking an image of current setup is probably a good idea.  Should get on to that just in case.
