Finally had a UHF aerial installed at the new place. Brand new high gain phased array aerial appears to work best and straight RG6 to the TV + PVR.

Now the TV One and Mediaworks multiplexes work without issue with around 55% signal strength. Kordia multiplex gives me around 32% with a lot of bit errors. We did try a 91 element aerial as well and it wasn't quite as good as the Phased array unit.

I've now plugged in an old DSE signal booster which is helping out a little, but I'm worried I'll loose Kordia in the rain.

Anyone here seen a similar issue and got troubleshooting tips?

OM. Most obvious question would be, did he walk the roof ? Ie are you confident the antenna is in the optimum position. You would get best results doing that rather than trying various antennas amps etc. if you are sure there is no better spot then a masthead amp would no doubt fix it

Moving tha antenna just a few inches to several feet can make a significant difference as can moving thru around up to +/- 30 degrees and a few degees in elevation.

Yeah we walked the roof and it is in the strongest spot. The spot with the original VHF aerial gets close to zero UHF DTT due to trees.
