Hi all

Ok we have a freeview seup problem here.

I am setting up in my sons sleepout.

We know the decoder works as i have tested inside on our sky dish .

Have installed a 45cm satellite dish on the sleepout, checked for signal and am picking up two good ones.

We are in Central Otago,Sth Island.

Cannot get anything to tune in on the decoder, the lnb has been replaced and i have reset the decoder to default value.

Thats all i can think of..

Any tips would be appreciated!

Many thanks in advance

Cheers

Check the LO (Local Oscillator) frequency setting in your STB.  Common ones are 10750 MHz and 11300 MHz.  If one doesn't work, try the other.

Do both the LNB's use the same frequency? Common values are 11,300 and 10750. It will say on the LNB which it is, but instead of going up and having a look, try setting the decoder to the other value.

what brand of decoder are you using?
As above, most likely scenario is you have the wrong lnb settings in the unit.
Otherwise, do you know your new dish is aligned properly? If you're on C1 for instance, that's pretty close and will give you a signal reading, even though you'll get no freeview channels.
