Yep seems fixed here.
fixed - although a test message i sent at 11.48am that hasn't bounced still hasnt been delivered.
Bouncing with a hard "account does not exist" is very bad behaviour.
Not impressed with Google this week.

A few mailing lists will be significantly down in subscribers as a result of the servers erroneously returning a 5xx error in response to RCPT TO.

Probably stuck in a queue.
yup, an internal google queue, has definitely left my exchange server.
Seems to have now fixed itself. Guessing google is running out of diskspace with all these announcements to try and get people reducing their diskspace usage or pay up. Wonder how long before it affect youtube videos. The free internet seems to be getting less free by the day.
Paul1977:Emailing Gmail addresses today is resulting in NDRs saying the recipient address doesn't exist. Have tried sending to 4 different Gmail addresses, from 2 different sending mail services and they all bounce back. So obviously a problem at Google, but I can't find anything about it (apparently there was a Google outage yesterday, but that is meant to have been resolved).
They had an outage lasting a couple of hours, and worst of all it resulted in hard bounces (550-xxx) so your MTA won't try any redelivery. You'll have to manually re-send anything that went to a Gmail address during the outage.
