Found out the hard way that Free Parking is now manual updates.

The front end web site still does not talk to their back end DNS servers.

They have now moved to a manual update system.

Seems likely FreeParking New Plymouth had a locally developed front end, that doesn't have any connectivity to whatever backend Dreamscape use in their global empire.

Also, you have to ring and raise a ticket to get support to prod an engineer to make the changes.

They manually read out your changes from the front end log, then send them off to their back end guys.

What a hopeless backwards step.

Front line support are very helpful and polite, in their best Manilla accent, they just say they have to work with the tools they are given.  Good on them for remaining curteous in a ridiculous situation.

We'll move this domain to NetValue - still NZ owned by Graham Gaylard, and operated from an ordinary real office Hamilton.
