By the way, I work for a telco and may have to go onsite (data centres/exchanges) if #*#@ hits the fan to keep the network and a large section of the economy running. Are people insinuating that because I work for a telco I'm all of a sudden "paid enough to expose myself and household to Covid19"?

I don't think anyone is paid enough and did not insinuate that you are paid enough - I don't even know your situation or yourself so don't take what you read on a generic post as something personal.

What I do know is that as an employee you can work with your employer to minimise risks or change some of the stuff you do. Start reading from here.

Also, for other questions, this is a good Q&A on employment.

I don't believe it was your post that I am referring to, and I'm not taking it personally. Rather, I'm questioning someone's logic, who instead of considering the actual rules, or the logic around the transmission of the disease, they decided to talk about people "not being paid enough".

I'm gladly doing my part and taking all precautions necessary, but I understand that there are people who don't work for a business or have clients that aren't "essential services" who don't have it as clear-cut as I do.
