My only bugbear with WK is the legit email incorporating direct links. This means when clueless people get a pishing email they think "oh it's another one of those rego emails" and click the links. I think they should adopt the practice some companies (most notably banks) use of directing people to go to their website and accessing the relevant tool that way. They could for example set up a rego.govt.nz website and make it easy to go to rego.govt.nz, enter your rego, pay the fee, and off you go. Just my 2 cents worth...

One small point here. The genuine article comes from a govt.nz domain. govt.nz (and mil.nz and health.nz) are moderated top level names so you should be able to trust emails and links that point to moderated namespace.

I personally always manually browse to the NZTA rego site (transact.nzta.govt.nz)
