Behodar: Warning, alert, caution: The calendar feed seems to have incorrect locations; many of the rooms listed in the calendar don't match those on the actual site or in the printed guide. It's worth double-checking the rooms.

Sorry about this, it seems that Outlook doesn't auto-refresh the calendar feed if you just click and add directly from the site.  If you import-subscribe manually, it asks you for refresh options and you get the changes OK.  Got the team looking to see what they can do for next year - probably only option is more info on how to 'subscribe' instead of 'import'.  Check the following link - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/outlook/calendar-import-vs-subscribe

We've put up a new page which might help during the conference, showing what's on now, what's on next:  http://bit.ly/tenznow

You can also download a PDF version of the mini guide if you need it here (but a handful of room changes may happen from what's on printed guide due to changes in session demand since printing on 3rd Sep) : http://bit.ly/tenzminiguide

Ahh, so the room allocations must've changed since I added the feed. I'm on iOS and it didn't update either, so it seems that it's a common problem! Hopefully iOS 8 will fix it :)

I only changed a handful of rooms since the final allocation was done (and after mini guide printed) but for some reason the 'semi-random' room allocation was shown on the outlook calendar before it was finalised.  I've got this on my list of things to look into before next years event.

At Microsoft TechEd NZ 2014 Intergen ran a Guitar Hero competition - three days of delegates playing Guitar Hero to the audience around the hub. The finals were on Expert mode and here is the video (worth watching to the end to see the public's reaction):

This stand won Most Awesome Stand at the conference. Pretty good effort there!
