I've migrated today from Reeder on iPad and iPhone to Feedly. I am very pleasantly surprised. App is free and looks great and works well. Has a nice optional dark theme. Logged into my Google account and it imported all my subs AND starred items flawlessly. Highly recommended.
Cheers,
Joseph

Feedly became my preferred option a few days ago. The one click import on the front page was as simple as it gets. Does anyone know the business model?

The folks developing the Old readser found out, oh shock, oh horror, that IT projects are time consuming and they have an audience that wasn't going to pay for it... They are shutting down the platform (leaving only a few people with access to the service).

Yep, good to have decided on Feedly... So far.

It's disappointing, they should have made it software as a service from the start with a free limited trial. I'd pay $5/month for a good online reader in the style of Google Reader or The Old Reader. Alternatively they could have used the Pinboard model which apparently works well.

I'll try Feedly again but I didn't like the style last time.

It's vastly superior to Reader in front end performance. Really a pleasure for the most part.

Feedly is a lot better than when I first tried it, also trying Go Read

I just paid US$99 for the Feedly Pro upgrade. Price is $5/month, US$45/year or US$99 lifetime upgrade (lifetime limited to 5,000 users).
