How many around here use Opera Mobile or Opera for that matter?

Opera Mobile and or Mini is my first choice browser on my mobile devices, I've been using it for several years and find it to be very very good. ?I also started using using Opera on my computers for many reasons one of which being the ability to sync bookmarks etc on a variety of computers and mobile devices.

We use Xero online accounting software unfortunately it doesn't support Opera or Opera Mobile. ?This is a real pity as I'm forced to use another browser just to get access to Xero. ?However the real issue arises when I need to access Xero on a mobile device as none of the mobile browsers I use work on Xero.

Has anyone else had this issue? ?How have you got round it? ?Is it worth bringing some pressure to bear on Xero to make changes. ?I might add the Xero site is the only site that I have come across that will not work with Opera or Opera Mobile. It can't be that hard to get it to work.

Opera Mini is supported on http://m.xero.com/ according to http://help.xero.com/Help/GettingStarted_Install.htm

Destkop Opera has single market share, <2% - it's not surprising Xero aren't going to dedicate time to testing/supporting it for the main (non mobile) site.

Have you tried it with turbo turned off?

Ragnor,

Thanks for that.

It works well with Opera Mobile. Non of the info that I had seen for Xero indicated they even had a mobile site. Pity that there is no reference to the mobile site on their "error" page especially when you come in from a mobile browser. Other sites can let you know about their mobile opotimised site automatically.   This could have saved me a bit of grief a few days ago.

Thanks again for the info.

Doesn't work with turbo turned off either, tried that!!!!.

Found that out just recently as I've just started using Turbo and discovered that some sites don't like Turbo.

However Ragnor has provided a bit of useful info which certainly helps.
