I've been using Live Mesh on my home network for several years (since the Foldershare and SyncToy days). The objective is to synchronize files across the three Windows 7 PCs on the network, so that documents, spreadsheets, photos, music, etc files are the same on all PCs in (almost) real time.

Live Mesh has done exactly what I want, so I've been very happy with it. However, last week one of the PCs got a virus that trashed many things. I've cleaned up the virus and fixed most things, but Live Mesh on that PC remains broken. No problem, I'll just download it again and reinstall. But no, that version is no longer available (as of August 7, arrgh) - it has been replaced by SkyDrive, which does not support direct PC-to-PC synchronization. Hmmm, what to do?

Two options emerge:
- DropBox. I have 150+ GB of files to sync, so this would cost US$200 per annum.
- GoodSync. This is very similar to Live Mesh. It costs US$40 for the two licenses that are needed, so it would be much cheaper than DropBox. It has an additional feature of being able to sync files via FTP, which might be useful for a website that I maintain (though this isn't a big issue).

Has anyone used these services? Pros and cons of each? Other options? All help would be much appreciated.
