Hi There!

Just wondering if anyone had a list of reasonably priced Point of Sale systems for the clothing retail business?

We looked at Counter Intelligence so far, but I was after perhaps a bit of a list?

Check out Vend: http://vendhq.com

Great cloud-based retail POS, kiwi-made.

Yea Vend is pretty well known but does lacka few features. Really depends on how advanced they want to go.

Yes, please explain. A post with "lack features" without a list is not of much value for the whole discussion.

Just a wild thought:

Have you checked out Android/iOS apps (& accessories) for use with a tablet?

From what I've read recently they're looking like a realistic option now (especially for very small operators?). Although this might be more USA-centric.

Yea fair enough. The main one I have come across so far is the ability to hold photos and further information for product variants. That could eb overcome by having them as separate products but not perfect.

Yah that seems to be a big missing feature if you wanted to use it for clothes.

Easy to use. Starter pack is cheap ($600 I think. Support is good if you pay for it. 15% yearly cost of the pack that you purchased. Super Liquor group, Wellington Zoo uses the same software as well. Can't fault it as such. Been using it for few years now. No complaints.

I have a client who uses that, and I think they find it good. Although I don't use it myself so I don't know how well it works. My clients website that we did links up to the CS system using their e-retailer system, and it seems to work well.
One of the good things about it is that it can work with stores in multiple locations, and the inventory for both online and the physical stores is all managed centrally.
