Does anyone know of a *cheap* netbook with built in 3g

Will be used by diswasher/oven techs that have messy hands and will damage it within a year. Thought about going for panasonic toughbooks, but decided it will cost less overall if we can find a netbook around the ~$400-700 price range

Currently have been using eee 701's (4gb SSD w/ 7" screen) tethered to some crappy samsung cellphones but the client wants to get away from tethering so the laptop isnt tied to a cellphone. This means android hotspot tethering also wont work.

I remember the HP One used to have a unit with built in 3g but they are an old model now.

Software on the netbook is a locked down windows and remote desktop client so they dont need to be very powerful or fast.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

One of the laptop companies up in Auckland are selling low spec but usable toughbooks for around the $300 mark. Might be a bit more robust than a netbook and no fear of getting it wet

Well I can tell you we used some Lenovo netbooks with 3g for our sales reps and they were pretty rubbish so would avoid. Cant tell you what is good though as we have swapped ours out with iPads.

would an android or ipad work using the likes of 2X for RDP?

Suggested tablets - even plugging in keyboards. Got too messy trying to make the touch screens work with grease on the techs fingers, and plugging in keyboards means the tiny usb plugs and cables will get destroyed.

Cheap is not always better. Why not get a Panasonic Toughpad and worry less about grease, water and other stuff?
