I'm trying to use outlook.com.

First off, loading messages can often take an unreasonably long time. For example, I click to expand a two paragraph text-only message, and it takes ~5 seconds to load.

And then 4/5 times I try to send a message, it just hangs with the sending animation looping. Eventually I refresh or it times out and I see double drafts in the draft folder, and nothing in the sent folder. Sometimes I refresh and it appears that the message has been sent, but I'm never sure.

Also, on a side note: I had a look in an old Hotmail account of mine, and it's completely empty. Luckily this was not an important account of mine (I primarily use gmail), but it sure looks like Microsoft did a stellar of the switch over.

I think the outlook.com interface is excellent, and I'd like to sort out the issues mentioned above. Has anyone experienced any of this weirdness?

Is it on all browsers and computers? I think you will find it is computer related. It wouldn't happen to be an asus motherboard would it?

1. Slingshot
2. No
3. Yes
4. IE10 and FF latest versions

I tried on another PC with no AV software and no adblockers etc, and that seemed to fix the failure to send issue (could have been a fluke though, have to send a few more emails), but opening mail was still slow and the other thing that I forgot to mention, uploading attachments hanging, still happens. On gmail, the same attachments upload much faster, and never hang.

Back on the original PC with adblockers disabled, same situation.

No Asus by the way.

I have had issues with Office365 in the last couple of days. It seems to be because they are upgrading accounts to Exchange 2013.

Activesync works ok, but not outlook (2010 in my case)

I hope ill come right at some stage
