I have a Windows XP PC with .NET 3.5 installed and I want to install .NET 4 so I can run an Application that needs it. Is there any chance I could mess up the current Applications that use .NET 3.5 by doing this?

Thanks in advance.

No, it will be fine with them both installed.

They are basically separate anyway - so no biggie.

You will end up with both installed, you're not really upgrading the existing install.
