Hi all
About 10 years (and two jobs) ago, I used to periodically receive promotional mail from a training provider and I'm trying to recall their name. I'm not sure where they were based, but I got the impression they were the type who delivered training from hotel and conference facilities, rather than having their own premises.
The seminars they used to run were of particular interest, and now I'm in charge of a reasonably large team of systems engineers, I can see massive benefit in some of the events they ran. If I recall correctly, the way they structured their training was by getting an expert in a particular field to run one event, focussed on an area of interest to them. They would run perhaps one event in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch (not sure about the last). I vividly remember one event that was focussed on Windows security, and involved hands-on demonstrations of vulnerabilities in older versions of Windows, how to harden them to such attacks, and other related (and highly relevant) technical information. The attendance cost ranged I think from about $1000 to $2000 per head. It was far too pricey for the organisation I was with at the time, but in my current organisation I can see us being very interested.
I can't remember either the name of the company, nor the name of any of the presenters. I can't get "SkillPath Seminars" out of my head, but they sent me the same type of promotional mail in my last job.
If anyone is able to help me, I'd be most grateful. They may not even be around anymore, but if they are, I'd really like to get in touch.
Thanks
