Has anyone here exported their client's contacts from BCM as a .csv file and then imported them to Microsoft Dynamics CRM online?
I have gone through it all and submitted the upload, it has taken almost two hours and was wondering if anyone has a rough idea of how much time it takes to import around 360 contacts?

At present it is got it's graphic spinning around so it looks as though it is still working, but as there is no progress bar I do not know whether it is actually working, or if it is going to make me wait for hours on end only to tell me there was an error!

Surely someone here has been through this, any help much appreciated!

Cheers
Matt

Try a different browser. Certainly should not take longer than few minutes at most to load 360 contacts.

Do whatever you want to do man.

That sounds like an exorbitantly long time. I've done an import of around 1400 contacts in around 15 minutes.

Hmm yea I have tried again and reviewed the .csv but it does not look like there is anything wrong in there.
I just wish it would have an error and tell me about it rather than sit there making me wait for an incredible amount of time.

Hey GCSB if you are spying on this tell Microsoft to put a progress bar on their data importer for CRM!

Problem solved, turns out CRM does not like it when you want to use your own names for fields, it just sits there having a sulk/laughing at you while you pull your hair out!

Thanks for the time from people who answered :)
