Hey guys,

I have been working on service desk for two years now and am wanting to take my career new places.
I am thinking about studying for my oracle certifications and am not sure where to start.
I did third year databases and info systems during my degree but feel rusty as haven't touched on that sort of thing for awhile.
I was thinking about getting some oracle 8i books are starting from there?

Has anyone else got oracle certs recently? If so what was the process etc?

Any help would be great!

Thanks

Why Oracle 8i? That's so old - it released in 1999 :P You know the current release is 12c?

Is Oracle DBA where you want to head with your career? If so, then yes, looking to be an Oracle Database 12c Administrator Certified Associate would be a good objective. But please don't use 14-year-old study material.
