It is an update for various office components but it breaks the Outlook folder pane in these office 2013 versions:

 

  • Office 2013 Standard
  • Office 2013 Professional Plus

You can uninstall it, but that has not fixed the issue for me.

Installed this from Windows Update last week and lost my folders. Uninstalling obviously fixed it.

Microsoft has removed the update from WU and advise they will send it out later with correct DLL...

Check for more instances of it under your installed updates list. I've seen reports of it showing up multiple times and you need to get rid of all of them for it to come right.

will look through my updates list for it again. Also, yep, really hoping we can get the company onto office365 soon, like the system a lot.
