Hi Guys.

Is "easy print" TS printer redirection compatible with SBS2008, SBS2011 .
When the remote PC is using simple RDC .

I havnt been able to find a definite,simple yes/no.

I did see that Easy print requires RDSH Role Service installed &

"Remote Desktop Session Host is not supported on Small Business Server 2011"

So I guess that means Not compatible with SBS ??

Cheers

do you mean you want to use RDS and SBS on the same machine?

SBS supports 2 RDC sessions .
Far from ideal, but on some sites users RD onto the SBS server , just the way it is.

Ive been asked to look into why easyprint isnt working .

I beleive you need the Remote Desktop Services roll installed (Terminal Server setup)

You also need the latest version of the RDP Client on the client Machine(This may not really be a requirement)

From here you need to have the same identical print driver installed on the client and server also.

If this doesent work there can be issues with registry and group policy settings preventing this also but should work ot of the box which has been my experience if all criteria above are meet.
