Hello, has anyone connected cisco and juniper switches together directly.
I understand that Juniper uses vlan 0 as the default vlan while cisco uses vlan 1.
Do you have to make any modifications based on this in order to connect the two brands switches together ?

thanks for any advice.

Shouldn't need to do anything out of the ordinary to get it working. I highly recommend not using the default vlan where possible as you really shouldn't have tagged and untagged traffic across a trunk port.
