Hi There!

I have been going round and round on the MS partner site trying to work out definitively what I need to do if I have an action pack but require additional licenses of say Windows Server.

As I understand it I can move to Silver level, but every time I click on more information, it asks me to login and then says I am already a subscriber.

It says fee's apply but I can't find any record of what said fees would be.

Anyone been through this that can explain what I need do to ?

To move to silver you need to "earn' a silver competency.  You do this typically by:
* choosing a competency
* passing the required exams with the required number of staff
* obtaining 5+ customer references in the tool
* running an NSAT survey in the too with a minimum number of licences
* paying the annual silver fee

To see what license grants apply at the different competency levels, you can follow this link: https://mspartner.microsoft.com/en/nz/pages/membership/internal-use-software.aspx#_

If you're interested in the MSDN licensing rights, and whether any additional license grants apply to your competency, that info is here: https://mspartner.microsoft.com/en/nz/pages/membership/msdn-subscriptions.aspx

Feel free to ping me a PM with your email address, and I can pick it up the thread and help you further...

Can we just BUY more licenses at a special rate?

you're already getting access to thousands of dollars worth of software for only $600/yr when subscribing to the action pack....  surely that's discount enough?

if you are a partner that needs more licenses than what you get with the action pack, then you really should be looking at silver or gold competency levels.  silver, at around $2400/yr, is extremely cheap for what you get license-wise.
