Hi everyone!

So I've just recently caught the big data bug. And have been playing with a Hadoop install (Flondering around breaking stuff is probably more accurate) anyway I'm just wondering if anyone can recommend any good pages, books or anything really that will help me get started?

you could sign up for an Azure free trial, and try seom of the tutorials and guides available here: http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/services/hdinsight/

also try out the free online learning at Microsoft Virtual Academy, the following might be useful:
