What do you use for cloud storage ?? , I was using drop box however my extra space is about to expire and with my new phone I get an extra 100gb with one drive for 2 years.

I think I might switch over to that, what do you use and which is the best one for integration etc, Would be used for the occasional files as well as all my photos auto backed up.

I've only used Dropbox but really rate it, I pay for the 1TB plan and have everything on it.

I use OneDrive because Office comes with 1TB per user. OneDrive's Office integration features are useful if you want to have features like keeping your documents in the latest file format.

What is best for you will depend upon what you need and desire, e.g.:

  • If I used Google Apps then I would use Google Drive.
  • DropBox has Blackberry support.
  • OneDrive and DropBox have 256 bit encryption versus Google Drives 128 bit. Spideroak is probably the best for security and privacy.
  • OneDrive and Google Drive have 15GB free versus DropBox and Spideroak with 2GB free.
I know people who use different services for different files or purposes. They also get more storage as a result. That might be worthwhile but I'd rather not have multiple clients.

I use KeePass and its derivatives to access my password database on OneDrive for Windows, Linux, Android, and Windows Phone devices. I wouldn't use a service that wasn't supported by KeePass.

I use google drive. I had too many issues with dropbox just barfing on a file, so then it didnt upload properly, then when another PC came back online it put its version up over the part uploaded one that then came down onto the PC I had just edited and saved on.

Did that one time too many losing changes that I didnt notice till it was too late and i had exited the app that I was working in.

I use One Drive and Google Drive, and have trialled Dropbox and I prefer One Drive.

I use google drive (and pay for the unlimited space) for home and onedrive for work which has over 1TB of space as included in my office license.

For Google drive however I also use boxcryptor to encrypt before uploading.

I used DropBox for years, and its worked really well for me. If anyone else is interested in checking it out, if you use this referral URL we'll both get bonus storage :-)

I use OneDrive because of the 1TB that came with my Office 365 subscription, value proposition is hard to beat

I dont honestly think there is much difference between the big three, to a degree data is data and apps/filesyncs all work much the same

Maybe a placebo but after the MegaUpload fiasco using a Google/Microsoft/Apple solution just makes me feel a little more secure

Personally I use ownCloud hosted on my home server :)
From these three I would recommend dropbox as the most mature. Also it's the only solution if you need linux support.

One think I really like about Drive is that I can right click PDF attachments in gmail and immediately save these to Drive.
