So recently I became secretary of the local basketball club.
For many years the club has suffered with some lack of organisation for a number of reason but a large contributor is the lack of any kind of systems or processes.

I have set up a facebook page which has been a big help, but the most obvious thing is to have some kind of "Sports Club Management software" or database to keep all the players and team informed at their end and logged and categorised at my end.

I have done the usual google searching and come up with lots of seemingly little or specialised options, but what I usually look for is a bunch of different people in different places all pointing to one solution indicating that is a good product.

In my mind there most be so many clubs out there world wide that there must be a massive market and I would have thought a couple of dominant players?
Am I missing something?

What I am looking for... preferable an online service, possibly a wordpress plugin, preferably free but minimum a free trial, manage multiple teams within a club.

Clubhub offers a reasonably decent product, I'm not sure of the pricing (they do allow free trials). It was used by a club I used to help out at and seemed decent, but I was not the administrator of the product so am mostly only familiar with it as a user. It probably doesn't have every feature every club needs, but it's not bad and I've not used anything else even half good in the way of club management.
