We have a wordpress website (has one php form as well) that is all up and running.
We maintain our own content and perform basic housekeeping.

The current support person we use hosts the site and provides us with some tech support - but lately seems to have got too busy to fix a couple of issues we are having.

Can anyone suggest someone (would prefer Auckland if possible) that would be ok with some wordpress tech support and perhaps hosting our site.

Any suggestions welcomed.

It does really depend on how it was built, and whether it is using a purchased template. If it is a purchased template, only the person who set it up may have the license to get updates for that template. So it is a bit of a difficult situation for  anyone taking it over.

Sorry a little OT, but surely telling people a bit about yourself\your company, how you can help and offering help in response to a request for assistance is OK? I thought the rule change was more to prevent people coming along and starting a thread advertising their services then disappearing.

It seems reasonable that when asked you can reply, but that's not what the FUG says.

"Self-promotional and commercial posts are not allowed and will be removed. The only exception is in the Offers and Wanted forums, where users will be allowed to post non-commercial offers (personal only) after some participation in the forums.".

So to Rob, please move to the correct forum or allow private messages. I do a bit of this as a side thing.

Huh, fair enough, that does seem fairly unambiguous; which I guess is a good thing for a FUG. I suppose if there was an "except when asked for assistance" clause it would be easy for the less scrupulous element to use puppet accounts asking for assistance then post replies. (Apologies for the OT diversion)

Sorry folks.
I have enabled the PM feature - didnt know I had turned it off!

Also - I wasnt knowingly trying to break GZ rules - but thought maybe the helpful folks here may have some real world wisdom/suggestions - rather than me hitting google to try and find someone.
Yes - there is a template somewhere we paid a couple of dollars for - Think the current host bought it.
As he seems very busy I dont expect him to be unhelpful if we decide to move from him.

If I have broken a GZ rule - my apologies.
