In the last 10 years have migrated across to selling mostly Brother laser printers for our SME clients.  In my experience they are reasonably robust, well priced, and have good driver support across multiple Windows versions.  They are also highly reliable in my experience, which would be around 100 Brother lasers in the last 5 years for clients with which we maintain an ongoing relationship.

There is an exception to most rules.  A client of mine (a small charity) with a colour laser and an issue that repeated four times in 16 months.  Three times it was fixed under warranty.  The fourth time, our client asked us to take the issue up with Brother.

When escalated the issue, the person who took my call was interested and helpful.  This person arranged for the correct department to continue handling the request and followed up to ensure a satisfactory resolution.

I'm happy.  Our client has gone from pretty damn grumpy all the way to ecstatic, and I'm confident of further Brother sales to that organisation.

Thank you very much Edward and Catherine & team at Brother NZ.
