Geeks Needed!

Looking for guidance please on a subject that has had me trawling through the net without any results.

I am having a web site built that will drive an on line competition. All entries will be via a web site I have set up and entered via an entry page within that web site that will have an email template embedded into it. One of the fields of that email template needs to be a template of 12 boxes in a single row into which must be placed (By persons entering the competition) 12 single numbers, numbers will range from Zero to nine (some numbers obviously will be repeated). The numbers will be discovered by persons via a series of clues as they engage with the competition and when placed into the boxes must be in the correct order. I would anticipate probably 3 types of Auto response that are triggered by the fields in the entry template, fields will only amount to 3,  these being name, email address and the 12 correct numbers in the correct order.

A. One response is to mails that have the incorrect answers to the competition. "Unfortunately you have not been successful at this attempt please check your answers and try again etc." These will be contestants who have not found the correct numbers or have found the correct numbers but placed them in the correct order.

B. One response is to the person who has discovered the correct numbers and placed them in the correct order, basically the winner. “Congratulations you have cracked the code etc” When this mail is sent to the competitor a mail is also sent to my email account to inform me that the correct answer has been sent and so the competition is over and I can close entries by posting a message on the competition page to inform that the competition is closed as the correct answer has been logged by a player. I do not need to be informed about competitors who receive the email response "A" or "C"

C. One response is for entries that have incomplete or incorrect data, “Please refer to your entry as it has not been filled in correctly etc”, This might be their name or any other details requested.

Any help would be very much appreciated or pointers as to where on the web to look.

Michael

The web developer should take care of this for you unless your budget is so tight that you can't afford to have proper entry validation done on the site.

As above, I think you need to move the validation to the start, rather than try and check through an email filter that, if I'm reading this correctly, you have sent from a website you created anyway?
If the web form has not been entered correctly, then don't let the email send.

Is there more to this?
