           Hello, guys how are you doing?

 
       I installed windows Vista in my PC and when i try to install SQL server 2000, says " SQL SERVER 2000 IS INCOMPATILBE WITH THIS VERSION OF WINDOWS" 


  please guys is there any option how to make compatible with this windows Vista?

Ah, Microsoft Vista and it's incompatibilities Smile

My suggestion would be to either down-grade your PC or buy another cheap PC off TradeMe with Win XP and install SQL Server on that instead.

Someone else here may know what version of SQL Server runs on Vista.

Why the surprise? If you run Mac OS X you will notice that a lot of software doesn't run from 10.3 to 10.4 and to 10.5...

Back to the topic at hand, use Microsoft SQL 2005. Microsoft SQL 2000 is old software and Microsoft SQL 2008 is coming out soon - so whatever you are doing it's a good time to start thinking of upgrading.
