Hi Team

New neighbours in our business complex are 2 guys merging their one-man-band companies into a 2 man domestic Air Conditioning company (and aiming to grow working together).  Both currently have paper-based systems.

The new company is using Xero for accounting.  They are looking to be able to do basic quotes while on site and also invoice from on site when the job is complete.  They are trialling GeoOp but I see this has a 3.5 star rating on the Xero Add-on page (https://www.xero.com/nz/add-ons/category/invoicing-jobs/) wherre others have higher feedback ratings.

Can anybody recommend a product they use or have helped a client get up and running?

Cheers

Probably best to talk with someone who works in that field as above.

Coincidentally today I saw Workflowmax and was massively underwhelmed at what it could do - so basic.

Geoop may be better and I hear Simpro is feature packed but expensive. There are quite a few others around, I have neard good things about Next minute (http://www.nextminute.com/) but never used personally.

Servicem8 is another popular one and from what I've seen is better than GeoOP.
It also works on pricing that pays per job, so if you are busy with more jobs then you pay more for the app.
Not so busy pay less.
First 20 jobs every month are free and then only 50c per job after that.
One downside is they only have iOS app no android.

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

Quotient is pretty good, well used in the creative industry. Not sure about trades though.
