Hi There!

I have read that OneDrive for Business doesn't support "file" versions unless they are native office apps. IE no PDF versioning. So if I annotate a PDF, then save, then annotate again, and save, I can't revert to the changes made in annotation1 ?

Surely this can't be true?

Sounds like you need version control like git not file sharing

Yes it has version history for all files (well at least some txt and jpg files I just tested).

EDIT: I still wouldnt recommend it, its the worst 'cloud storage' system i've ever had the misfortune of using. The current 'next gen' sync client is an improvement, but introduces its own issues (it has regressed features - namely sharing - to improve stability).

Tried a PDF like your example and it works fine.

Make sure that versioning is enabled at the library level - this applies to all items within the library.

Excuse my ignorance, but where would I do that ?

I'd use latex + version control
