As far as I am aware they simply want to shift from one hosting provider to another.

Are they moving from a cPanel host to another cPanel host? You can lift and shift entire cPanel accounts pretty easily. Just send a backup to the new host, update your DNS and it's done.

Otherwise it's an hours work. We generally do free migrations for non-profits, but only if they're moving to us!

I do a bit of that kind of work for my side business. Pretty easy migration, just move the database, set the site up on both servers, point both sites at the new database, change DNS. Or if it's reasonably static just copy site / DB over and don't change anything for 24 hours until DNS caches catch up.

Most web hosts will migrate Wordpress for you if you're moving to them.
