Hi

Looking for a Bluetooth microphone for using with a laptop. Will be used by person presenting a powerpoint for example, whilst the session is recorded on the laptop itself.

Thanks for your recommendations

Absolutely sure you want Bluetooth?  There are some nice USB headsets with noise cancelling boom microphones that won't suffer from brief dropouts.

If it allows the person to be 4/5 meter from the laptop, yes why not.

What brand/model would you recommend?

Thanks

Ahhhh sorry I misunderstood.  I was thinking like a webinar style presentation, not a presentation to a live audience.  You could go USB but dragging a USB extension cable behind you would be.... a drag.

I've only used a couple of mobile-phone style micro bluetooth headsets, and a common-enough complaint from people on the other end of the call was there was too much background noise.  I did look a few months ago for a mono-telephone-headset style Bluetooth set for VoIP use, but could not find anything at what I felt was a reasonable price at the time.
