Hi,

I have some small freelance gigs coming up, and I wonder if there's any serious alternative to Paypal for receiving payments from customers overseas, in terms of ease of use for the senders ,lower fees and no-fuss withdrawal.

Also not sure bitcoins are an option, how easy is to convert bitcoin to NZD?

You can try Payoneer (Geekzone aff link). You get a Mastercard Debit Card. You will receive a US (and/or UK) bank numbers that people can make deposits to - and the money shows up in your account. You use like any other debit card, accepted wherever Mastercard is accepted. You can also withdraw the money to your own bank account (I never tested this feature). I personally use it.

I use it too, it works well. Fees are something like 1% load fee and 1-3% on purchases. I submitted a request to ask about the fees but they never replied. However when I had someone use my card they were quite good about blocking it and refunding those transactions.
