2008R2 as a guest on a 10 hyper-v host.

I have installed all windows updates. The hyper-v client components are not installed by default. There is a long list of optional updates which I have not installed and would prefer not to install holus-bolus wholesale.

Some sources identity KB955484 as the client tools. That is not in the optional list. Also cannot see anywhere to download that independently.
