Someone in here recommended Datto Drive.

I've been very happy with Google Drive, but as I'm now requiring more than 100GB, I need to use something more cost efficient (and still good).

Was keen on Amazon Drive, but then I saw Datto Drive. Free 12 months trial.

My requirements are pretty basic. I just need to be able to work directly off the drive, as I currently do with Google Drive.

All my important work folders are stored on Google Drive.

I assume I can do the same with Datto Drive, right?

OK, I'm confused.

I've been copying files from an external harddrive to Datto Drive.

But now my local harddrive on my laptop is getting full.

How do I stop it from synching? I don't want the files to be both on my laptop and in the cloud.

Just in the cloud and ideally I want to be able to use the file from the cloud (and not from my local drive).
