Hi Team

Dove have an attractive special on demo Liebert MTPlus UPS - the online double conversion models.  Even the standard price looks pretty reasonable, and while I don;t recall ever having a server lose power while an offline UPS switches itself into the circuit, the ideal of a double-conversion UPS is a positive one in my mind.

I've never used the brand before....  does anybody have an opinion of the brand for commercial use on SMB servers?  We've typically used HP UPS on HP servers and as long as the batteries are less than 3 years old they have generally been well behaved.

Cheers

Not sure about their SME product but Liebert (Emerson) are one of the big boys in the large UPS space. They have pretty good market presence and are very strong in datacentres.

Ive sold plenty of the lower end Lieberts

Those are OK. Nothing special, no real issues.

Thank you both.  @1101 so they are not fire hazards like some of the cheapies?
