We had a domain name with eziWeb.net.nz that they just let expire even though we'd paid the renewal fee, luckily it wasn't a too significant one for us as it had expired in June and wasn't noticed until now but it was available for anyone else to purchase.

I've had no response from them either by phone or email or through their website ticketing system for a week now, anyone know what's going on?

I've since purchased the domain name via another company just so someone else wouldn't get it.

If it happened to me and I was getting no response from the registrar I'd be looking at putting in a complaint to ICANN. Sure, it was basically insignificant this time, what about next time though? What if they're letting this happen to other clients? Not good enough.
