Im with an ISP that doesnt give me an email addy.

Some apps and even websites like nzdating ask for non free email addies.

Is there any way to get one free or do I need to buy a non web mail email?

What's "a non web email"?

This sounds like a post from 1995!

90% of the world use gmail and outlook etc. You mean you have found some sites that won't accept theses most common email providers? Yikes!

They're probably asking for emails that are not live.com, outlook.com, hotmail.com, gmail.com, yahoo.com, zoho.com and those disposable ones. You might find some "free" email around but those will be mostl likely web-based. Some might have POP/SMTP and IMAP but I doubt they will be "reliable"...

Very few ISPs do now, and of those that do, the number of people that bother to set it up on anything is getting smaller and smaller. I only ever used my snap one on my scanner because it was too old to do TLS and auth on its SMTP for sending. Once left there and it stopped working I just went back to scanning to the computer and sending from gmail,

Contact them and tell them their restrictions are out of date and they should consider reviewing them.

I think they do it as part of knowing you are not a scammer etc.

As for Nzdating. I presume thats their reason as well. But seriously, it is outdated for them because most people dont get free email accounts as posted. So probably half of their members cant be contacted. Its a dive anyway isnt it? I remember it back 20 years ago lol, it was bad then.
