Hey guys,

We have a Wordpress website which was built and maintained by a local Auckland company. While we pay that company a retainer, they don't seem to have any Wordpress developers on their staff. For example after a recent Wordpress update a plugin running 2 lines of PHP/Javascript which records the IP address of someone submitting a form has broken and they can't fix it. They have asked us to fix it!

While I am sure we can, I don't quite know why we have them as our support company if they indeed can't support the site :)

The site's backend code is pretty messy I would say also (doesn't seem like much use of templates or dynamically loading content - the "edit pages" can crash my Chrome sometimes as there is so much to load in) and needs to be sorted.

Could anyone recommend a competent individual or company who could provide ongoing support and also do this cleanup?

A friend of mine who I've known for more years than I'd like to admit and his wife have an Auckland website design company specialising in Wordpress, Two Sparrows. I suggest you talk to them.

I’ve got reasonable experience with WP & have a few gaps in my calendar, so if I’m not too late & you’re still looking to partner up then please contact me.

Cheers
