I own a version 5.4 of filemaker and I use it on a daily basis I have used it tweaking it as I go for maybe 15 odd years?

I have a windows 7 machine dedicated amongst other things to run the filemaker as It does not like win10

Windows 7, i hear is sort of departing time to solve this filemaker situation

I have downloaded a trial version of filemaker 6 that does run on win 10 and can open filemaker 5 files and save them

I also have a genuine version 15 i think of filemaker

Apparently I can open , using a version 7 of filemaker the filemaker 6 files and then save them in filemaker 7 so that filemaker 12-15 can open them.

Phew!

Has anyone got a full version of 7 that I can "borrow" (really I dont need it once its done the conversion) ? or buy if you dont need it?

I have found Filemaker 8 in my archives, do you think that would work?

According to this page assuming I am reading it correctly, you can download the 30 day trial version of version 11 to do exactly what you want
