I have created a paid template for some open source forum software and I was wondering what would the best way to view which domains were using it? I think this could be done with JavaScript but I don't known how to implement a solution.

Could anyone help me with this?

You can create a unique css name or some special pattern of html code and use search engines that searches source code like nerdydata.com or publicwww.com to search for that certain string
