MS just announced a price increase for Microsoft 365 plans will come into effect in March 2022

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2021/08/19/new-pricing-for-microsoft-365/

New pricing
The pricing changes we are announcing today will go into effect in six months. On March 1, 2022, we will update our list pricing for the following commercial products:

Microsoft 365 Business Basic (from $5 to $6 per user),

Microsoft 365 Business Premium (from $20 to $22),

Office 365 E1 (from $8 to $10),

Office 365 E3 (from $20 to $23),

Office 365 E5 (from $35 to $38),

Microsoft 365 E3 (from $32 to $36).

These increases will apply globally with local market adjustments for certain regions. There are no changes to pricing for education and consumer products at this time.

NZ pricing hasn't been confirmed yet

Clint

Just spotted this as well.  I expect we'll likely see the same 10-15% rises.

Not insignificant for enterprises.  That's many 10's of 1000's extra a month.

Something that a lot of the articles  discussing the price rise seem to be missing is with these increases, all plans are now going to have audio conferencing which was previously only bundled with E5s or as a $3/4 addon.

And today, we are announcing that we will add unlimited dial-in capabilities for Microsoft Teams meetings across our enterprise, business, frontline, and government suites over the next few months.
